Calzaiolo

Highly recommended, hotel in the Chianti area, beautiful rooms and very kind staff, a few km from Florence and other beautiful tourist cities, Volterra, San Gimignano, Monteriggioni, and many others.

We stayed at the Hotel Calzaiolo for three nights and had a great time. The hotel is located about 30 minutes from Florence, in a convenient and quiet location. Although it may look a bit dated from the outside, inside it has been renovated: everything is new, clean and very nice. There is also convenient free parking, perfect for those traveling by car. The area is extremely quiet, ideal for rest without hearing noise. The owner is very friendly and helpful. As for breakfast, you have to agree directly with the property, but alternatively, just 4 km you can easily reach the center to enjoy a good coffee and a brioche. In general an excellent base for visiting Florence and its surroundings, with excellent value for money.

3 nights here. Very good hotel, nice comfortable room, well maintained and good front desk service. Avoid a room facing the Main Street if possible, noisy late, but that's the price of being smack in the middle of everything.
