Casanova di Larniano

We stayed there for 5 nights and had 2 rooms. Accomodation was pleasant and pool nice however you are isolated from the township of san Gimignano. It is close to 10 kms away and too far to walk. There Are no restaurants or cafes nearby to stroll to by foot. Road is too busy/dangerous to ride or run on. You have to drive everywhere which isn’t relaxing. In addition the stove in both apartments was electric and took 1.5hrs to warm water. It was ok but not for us.

Rented villa for two couples for one week and it was great Easy to find,nice setting with an awesome pool The villa had everything that you needed should you decide to self cater. The rooms were spacious with good bathrooms although both showers were on the small side. Definitely need a car if you stay here as the town is a 5-7min drive away. Elena was very helpful and gave good options for day trips from the villa. Would love to visit again in the future. Thanks for a great week.xx

We stayed at Casanova for a week whilst in Tuscany. The location is perfectly tucked away from the hustle and bustle of San Gimignano and perfectly placed to access a number of great day trips such as Pisa, Florence and the smaller towns in Tuscany. The accommodation itself was great, large rooms, nice and cool during summer and comfy beds. Cooking facilities were decent as well as the swing chairs and pool which are maintained daily. The owner Elena was always available to give advice on the region and places to visit. The charcoal bbq was a nice touch with fresh herbs growing right next to it. Highly recommend for anyone wanting their own piece of paradise in Tuscany.
