Podere l'Agave

property with attention to the smallest details, very kind and helpful staff, excellent apartments, and excellent breakfast... perfect vacation

Excellent welcome, cleanliness, amenities (2 pools, children's area, relaxation area, gym, air conditioners). Possibility of maintaining one's privacy as a family despite the many guests. A true haven of beauty in the countryside, with farm animals and fruit. Highly recommended.

Podere L’Agave: a place that stays in your heart. There are places you visit and places that, instead, you experience. Podere L’Agave, on the hills of San Vincenzo, is one of these. Overlooking the sea and the horizon of the Island of Elba and the other islands of the Tuscan Archipelago, it is immersed in an expanse of greenery, olive trees, vineyards, and nature that seems to have no boundaries. And perhaps space is truly the most beautiful sensation it gave us. Space all around, space before your eyes, space to breathe. Rows of young and ancient olive trees disappear into the horizon and, here and there, small seating areas immersed in the greenery invite you to stop, read, talk, or simply look. It is hard to resist the temptation to sit down and let yourself go. Animals are also part of this landscape, with discretion: the donkeys, the chickens, the geese, each in their own large spaces, far from the dwellings. A presence that makes everything even more authentic and gives the Podere that beautiful bucolic atmosphere that coexists, naturally, with a structure of great prestige. The accommodations are elegant and very well-kept: two-room apartments, three-room apartments, and larger solutions, with private porches, real kitchens, parquet floors, light colors, refined finishes, impeccable bathrooms. White and light sheets with those bedspreads with lace that remind you of the homes of the past. Everything is in the right place, without ever appearing ostentatious. And then there are the swimming pools, the hot tubs, the gazebos, the library with the rocking chair, the corners for children, the barbecue, the ping pong, the foosball table... many different places, but never the feeling of being in a crowded facility. We were here during the busiest days of summer, yet we experienced our stay with an almost suspended tranquility. We met, we smiled, we exchanged a few words, but everyone seemed to have their own space and their own time. This is the true luxury we found at Podere L’Agave: the possibility of feeling welcomed without ever feeling surrounded. Breakfast is a ritual of excellence: rich, well-curated, made with the freshest products, homemade jams, produce from the farm, and their excellent oil. And throughout the day, there are many opportunities to savor the quality of what is grown here. A pet-friendly place as well, where four-legged friends are welcomed with the same naturalness with which guests are welcomed. A special thanks to Mrs. Barbara, who with her experience, her professionalism, and that calm she knows how to convey, leads an exceptional staff. But our thanks also go to each of the people who are part of it: everyone was welcoming, kind, attentive, and capable of that sensitivity that makes you feel good, not just like a customer. You can feel the passion with which this place is cared for, enhanced, and offered to guests. My husband and I were also lucky enough to be able to experience more housing options during our stay: a little bit of "bad luck" caused by a last-minute vacation, which turned into an opportunity to appreciate the care and quality of this establishment. Podere L’Agave is elegance, nature, and freedom. It is the pleasure of having space around you and peace within you. It is one of those places you leave taking something with you that doesn't go in a suitcase: a feeling of well-being that stays. Thank you. ❤️
