Hotel JFI Hermitage

The Hotel really feels like a hermitage. I loved the exterior of the building. The hotel is walking distance from the main bus stop and other places of interest. The room was clean and cozy, the view from my room was breath taking. I would highly recommend this hotel for those wanting their peace and quiet to bathe in the spiritual energy of Assisi.

I was most impressed with the responsiveness I received when booking this hotel with the Gabry, the owner. She even sent a follow up confirmation email, which was above & beyond what we expected. Assisi is on a hillside, STEPS / STAIRS & HILLS ARE INEVITABLE, prepare for this as the approach to the hotel with luggage can be grueling without assistance, our taxi driver was very helpful. The hotel rooms were small but with full amenities & a large bathroom. Just a short 5 min walk to Basilica & 10 min to center of town with plenty of great food recommendations. Gabry was very helpful in suggesting restaurants & ways to approach our jam packed itinerary in the short time we had, it was a perfect stay & would highly suggest Hermitage for the service, the location & value!! thank you!

This hotel is a little gem! It's located just a short 5 minute walk to the main piazza, Piazza Del Comune. The hotel is very clean, rooms are good sized and the views to the valley are absolutely beautiful. Wi-fi is good, too. The owner, Gabriella, is also very sweet and gives you great tips for restaurants and must-sees. Will definitely return!
