To all Asians, pls do not patronise this Minerva Hotel at Asisis Italy. There was an elderly lady who works there, nkt sure if she is the waitress or cleaner or manager or the owner but she clearly hates Asian that walk into this hotel. She kick 7 of us out in our 80, 70, 60s & 30s, when we wanted to have our lunch there & even won't let me in my 60s to use the toilet, while all the westerners are presume customers of the hotel. We are from Singapore, the best passport in the world & we own afew big hotels in the world, this is not how we train our staffs to judge by how we look all dress. It is so obvious she is very racist & the worat experience we had around the World.

We stopped here for lunch after sightseeing in Assisi for the day. The staff was lovely and the food delicious. We recommend!

my husband and I stayed for 5 nights from 10 to 15 August . the structure was much higher than our expectations. the hotel is cat, official 2 stars and therefore we would have expected a standard structure, instead we can safely say that our stay was at the top: great location in the historic center close to the Basilica of San Francesco (yes, Assisi is all uphill, and consequently also downhill,,,,) room very neat and spotless; daily cleaning and linen change really impeccable varied and hearty breakfast (sweet and savoury buffet, fresh fruit and juices), excellent cappuccino and fresh croissants the staff, both waiting and at the reception extremely kind and helpful Highly recommended!
