Orvieto is beautiful; I hadn't been there in 20 years, but it has kept its beauty and charm. The "Soffitta" is a wonderful place, right in the center; the only flaw, if we want to call it that, is that it lacks an elevator, but that's normal, the building is from the 1200s, but be careful, I don't want to be misunderstood, mine is not a criticism, I'm just warning those who have trouble climbing stairs.

We set off from here for the Larth Path and stayed overnight again on our return. Two different rooms, both spotless and comfortable. A warm welcome from Mrs. Silvana, an elegant and cultured woman with whom it is a pleasure to converse. Below the establishment, there is a well-stocked bar (including vegan pastries). In the room, there are still kettles, toast, jam, and small tarts, in addition to coffee in the common areas. If we return to the area, we will again stop at this truly exceptional establishment, just a stone's throw from monuments, restaurants, and services. Congratulations to the managers!

We chose the structure as a starting and ending point to embark on the Larth path. A very valid solution: clean rooms, quiet, autonomy of entry and exit, everything excellent. Truly delightful is Mrs. Silvana, who welcomed us with great enthusiasm upon our arrival and when we returned from our walk, she awaited us at the threshold as if she were expecting relatives, with enthusiastic comments about our experience. As it is a guesthouse, breakfast is not served, but there are packaged products, a kettle, and a coffee machine in the common area. Right below the establishment, there is a bar with equally excellent service and a wide assortment (including vegan pastries). If we return to the area, the Loft and the Tower will host us again! Fantastic!
