Relais Borgo San Faustino

Too bad... I have to repeat myself like the latest reviews, nice place, bad breakfast and dinner, little organization, inexplicable.

We had a truly wonderful time in an enchanted place among the Umbrian hills, welcomed into a real ancient village where there is no shortage of a pool, spa, restaurant with quality local products, and the courteous and helpful staff complements a beautiful reality.

We stayed for two nights for which we arrived with a lot of enthusiasm since we had already been there in 2021, so with very high expectations. We booked for 4 people but upon arrival they wanted to give us a room with only one double bed. Fortunately, we were assigned the suite room at the same price. That said, the room is absolutely not at the level of a suite. Television not working and everything in English just like the air conditioning remote control, shower head that was hanging on the wall by a miracle and to rinse off the soap at least 10 minutes since it was full of limescale, toilet lid completely dilapidated and all the steel components full of rust and dirty. Lunch and dinner were absolutely disappointing, considering that almost nothing listed on the menu was available and, in my opinion, the prices were sky-high. Very slow service, not to mention that we often saw the dog going in and out of the kitchen. Poor breakfast with products that were not fresh. It has great potential, but in my opinion, it is managed very poorly and with little attention to cleanliness. From a Relais, I expect a completely different level than this.
