La Vela Hotel

Called and booked two days before arrival by phone, excellent promptness, welcome, friendliness, competence and courtesy, very pleasant and satisfying stay including dinner confirmed upon arrival, everything was delicious!!! a few steps from the lakefront; thanks Silvia for the greetings, they arrived on time!!!

Last week we were in Passignano sul Trasimeno. The hotel we chose proved to be perfectly suited to our needs. Mrs. Silvia, who owns and manages it, welcomed us in a friendly manner. Excellent breakfast, perfectly served by an excellent staff member. The Passo di Giano, which serves half-board meals, is excellently managed, with good and well-prepared choices between lake fish and other dishes. Everything in the hotel is kept very clean. Quiet place recommended for spending family vacations

I went to Lassegnano because a car club of which I am a member (the Cabrio Care Club) organized a tour of Lake Trasimeno and a visit to the nearby villages. A hot weekend, worthy of Dante's hell. And we... with our strictly convertible cars and the air conditioning turned off. The hotel had practically been requisitioned by the Club. We were about 40 crews. Everyone had to take care of their own reservation. More than a month in advance, I book using the hotel's web platform. Not having received any feedback after a week, I send an email asking for confirmation. They apologize, my reservation had slipped through the cracks. They are fully booked, only two small single rooms remain. I accept just to stay with the group. Upon arrival, surprise, due to a cancellation, two rooms had become available. Problem solved. We had a good time. Rooms rather small but clean. Staff that welcomes you kindly and is helpful. We had dinner on the evening of our arrival and lunch the following day. Good food, generous portions, and efficient service despite our large number. Nothing else to add, a good hotel in its category with staff that stands out for their courtesy and a short distance from the center and along the lake.
