Small 2 star hotel, so don't expect great luxury: very small rooms, although cozy, no elevator. Run by a Persian and his nephew, people of great courtesy. It is certainly the most central hotel in Perugia, although located in a not very practical staircase alley. We stayed there in the middle of winter, so we can't say anything about the heat and air conditioning, but the heating was super efficient, as was the hot water in the shower. Definitely a hotel to recommend.

Hotel Umbria is in a great spot in the old town. Very friendly owner who made the best cappuccino I’ve had in Italy! Lovely clean rooms & hot shower.

Small hotel....hard to find..cleaner than certain 4 stars....Kind Welcoming do not wait for the Hilton! But great value for money
