RELAIS IL CANALICCHIO

When we arrived we were thrilled! A breathtaking view and a truly beautiful village.. All the interior spaces were of great beauty and great taste, and the rooms were finely furnished, promising nice quality days. My husband and I stayed in the Tower and, apart from the shower water—which was otherwise very large and well-equipped with a waterfall feature and chromotherapy—that would occasionally stop the flow for a bit and then start up again after quite a while, we had a good stay. My sister and her two children, on the other hand, chose the small apartments that are located a bit secluded from the main building and which still have a nice pool of their own (in the main building where all the services are, there is a second pool); they also had a good stay. The service staff at the tables and in the rooms were kind, as was the staff at the reception. Excellent and abundant buffet breakfast. A single sore point... The quality and especially the quantity (to say the least, truly scarce) of the food served on the plates at lunch and dinner. We don't have issues with costs if the money corresponds to quality and quantity... but when prices are high and you see almost nothing on the plate, then no... we're not okay with that. Getting up from the table with a little appetite is fine, but being ravenously hungry after having paid a high price is neither possible nor fair. Too bad! Otherwise, we could have called it a perfect stay...

Wonderful relais surrounded by greenery and well-kept. Very relaxing stay, also thanks to the two swimming pools and the friendly and helpful staff; I emphasize that the restaurant also has an excellent price-quality ratio. Beautiful experience. Highly recommended.

Enchanting place, typical Umbrian cuisine and flavors, kind and welcoming people. A special greeting to ANIA who brightened up our breakfasts and to Alex and Olga.
