Terme Bologna

When I rarely happen to have a week free of singing commitments, I love to carve out a couple of relaxing days in Abano. My budget leads me to move in three-star hotels and my comment must be framed based on what one can reasonably expect in a structure of such a category. - Room cleanliness: impeccable - Thermal pools: the outdoor one is immersed in greenery and well-equipped; the indoor one, although large, is suitable for aquagym and the like. - Catering: the strong point! Well-assorted and never banal menus, well-cooked and tasty dishes. But the most positive thing for a three-star hotel is that you don't have to choose what you intend to eat the day before, but you do it at the very moment, when you have the cart in plain sight... and the staff, competent and very friendly, never denies a double choice. - only downside: for breakfast you have to wait until 8, but those who love to wake up early like me always find a way to take a healthy walk before stuffing themselves! In short, can you ask for more?

We spent two weeks of pure happiness with a group, pampered and served very well, with excellent cuisine, good hospitality, care, and attention to cleanliness, all in a relaxing environment with a beautiful and large thermal pool with free access, open from 8 am to 7 pm and taken care of by an exceptional person... great Paolo!!!

Friendly and helpful staff, but unfortunately not enough to save a disappointing experience. The structure appears to have stopped many decades ago, not in a fascinating way but simply overlooked. Clean but not comfortable room, with smell of old, excessive temperature and dirty and degraded terrace. Modest wellness area, with tiny sauna and dated rooms. The pool is the only real positive note. The biggest disappointment, however, was the catering: low quality, very strict hours for lunch and dinner and service that resembles more a routine of a welfare facility than a relaxing stay. Even the breakfast not up to scratch. Too bad, because with some serious investment and better cuisine this property could offer much more.
