Very friendly staff, very nice grounds outside... but the room was already worn out, dark, and had a musty smell. The dinner was also disappointing - in my opinion, the price-performance ratio is unfortunately not right at all here. Likewise, the breakfast in no way meets what I would expect in a 5-star establishment. The baguette, for example, was hard as a rock, the scope of the selection in my opinion... ...very small for the category.

Hotel located in one of the most beautiful villages in Italy and a location that is nothing short of fantastic, both for its vintage Cipriani-style decor and its super well-kept garden and breathtaking view. I stopped by for an aperitif in the garden to try the Bellini. Service was a bit slow and perhaps not quite elegant enough for 5 stars, but all in all excellent, perhaps also due to the fact that the terrace was almost full for dinner and maybe the waiters were not well organized. The girl at the reception was super kind; she welcomed us with a smile and accompanied us to the garden, briefly explaining a bit of the hotel's history. Excellent experience, I recommend it.

I made my marriage proposal here. I also had my wedding dinner here and I chose to return for our first anniversary. I found the same very high levels, the same elegance, style, courtesy, and politeness. For my wife and me, it is not even a hotel anymore, but rather the country house to return to. I had a child. I had to give up several anniversaries. But you miss this place, it calls to you, and in a certain sense, it waits for you. Trust a naive person: turn off your cell phone, put on a shirt, and discover a timeless place.
