Just returned from a weeks stay at the Parc Hotel Gritti. The hotel is in a fantastic location. The rooms are relatively spacious and are cleaned on a daily basis. The staff are friendly and helpful. The pool and the sundeck are exceptional, there was always a sun lounger available whatever time of the day you turned up, sun loungers are also of a good quality and very comfortable. However, this hotel is let done by a few things. Firstly, the quality of the food on offer at breakfast was of a very poor standard, the hot food on offer was almost inedible. Secondly, this hotel allows guests to bring their pets. One dog was a bulldog type dog, which, although, was always on a leash it was quite a scary dog. I’m not against people taking their pets on holiday, but with children about the breed of dog needs to be monitored.

Stayed a week on half board. Good location on the lakefront, a short level walk into Bardolino and the ferry departure point. A spacious recently renovated room (on a privilege basis) clean comfortable plenty of towels, efficient maid service with a good size ensuite with large walk in shower in which everything worked properly. Decent selection of food in restaurants, drink prices were reasonable with flexible eating times for breakfast and dinner. A good size outside pool with plenty of beds and parasols with both sunny and shaded areas, adjacent to the poolside bar and restaurant providing food and drinks throughout the day. The hotel also provides complimentary machine dispensing water and soft drinks during the day and there are also quiet sitting areas in the gardens. We found the staff helpful and efficient and enjoyed a relaxing stay at this hotel

Returning to the Parc Gritti for the first time in over 20 years - with two grown up daughters - we were concerned. Some of the reviews on here were underwhelming. Ignore these people. The hotel is an excellent experience. Spotless, clean, fantastic pool and sun deck, a broad range of ages, a good breakfast, evening entertainment, bikes for hire, and a superb lake side location in the most vibrant resort in Lake Garda. Can’t vouch for full board or evening meals, but we will certainly return to the Parc Gritti. A terrific holiday family hotel.
