Nuova Barcaccia

I spent some very pleasant days, they treated me very well, we will return

We are extremely disappointed in our stay. Upon arrival we suddenly had to pay an extra €99, while our stay was already fully paid for via Booking. That was the first unpleasant surprise. When we entered our room, it turned out to be nothing like what is presented on the website as a modern and new hotel. The room was in a very bad condition: the desk was literally hanging together with tape, the wooden frame of the bathroom door was moldy, the shower showed mold, the ceiling peeled off and the laminate floor had large crevices. As if that wasn't enough, the air conditioning leaked and water got into the room. We had also requested a baby cot for our 8-month-old son. According to the hotel, this was a new cot, but it was completely sagging and turned out to be nothing new after their own check. Besides, the edges were torn. A baby absolutely cannot sleep safely in this. Because of all these problems, we decided to leave the same evening and head for another residence, with a 3.5-year-old child and an 8-month-old baby. That was anything but obvious. We couldn't be offered another room. The only “solution” we got was a compensation of €30 in drinks at the bar. Frankly, that's an insult given the circumstances. We have not used the stay and therefore wish to get our money back in full. This hotel does not meet the expectations created on their website at all. We therefore absolutely do not recommend this stay.

Beautiful and clean hotel. Great pool but with music that is too loud. Cozy and clean room. Delicious and abundant breakfast, but the room was too cold. I had to put on a sweatshirt. Even though they do not offer lunch and dinner, they gave us a ticket for an excellent Roman restaurant with a 10 percent discount.
