I spent three wonderful days at the Hotel Metropol at the beginning of July. The location is fantastic, on the seafront and close to the beach (deep and perfect for long walks of kilometers towards the dam or Isola Verde). Room perhaps not huge but truly functional, enhanced by a balcony with a magnificent sea view and a bathroom with a window. The staff is welcoming and discreet, you can breathe a nice family atmosphere. Special mention for the cuisine: you eat very well, with light and balanced dishes. Also very convenient for reaching nearby Chioggia on foot. Highly recommended!

With regret, I must significantly lower the reviews I found as I strongly disagree, and those who rely on it like us will be disappointed! I report the total absence of air conditioning in the common areas and the breakfast room, and the extremely poor quality of the food (although it was varied, the choice was of very low quality, like from a discount store). I also report at least 10 steps to enter the elevator that leads to the rooms, so the stroller must be lifted by hand, and there is no ramp! We were not informed when I called and said there was a newborn! We requested an early check-out due to the child's discomfort caused by the unbearable climate, and in addition to the payment for the room (which was fine, we had booked!), they also charged us for the beach on the first day when we arrived at 4 PM and for the last day when we didn't even go. I do not recommend it... we will not recommend it and we will not return.

I stayed in this establishment and can only express my total satisfaction. The beachfront location is simply fantastic, and at the same time, the hotel is just steps from the center, making everything very convenient for evening walks without ever needing to use the car. In this regard, the private parking is a significant plus that eliminates all stress. The standout feature of this hotel is definitely the hospitality: the kindness of the owner and all the staff makes you feel at home from the very first moment, always super available and smiling. A special mention also goes to the impeccable cleanliness of the room and the excellent breakfast, rich and of high quality, the best way to start the day. Finally, I greatly appreciated the hotel's beach, equipped with really comfortable loungers, ideal for maximum relaxation. I will definitely return! Thank you for everything. Marco
