Nord Hotel

I booked a 3 day stay costing over €1,100 and hit a problem before arrival: the flight timings meant we couldn't make the check in time on the first night, which risked being treated as a no-show with our room being given away. On the same day, I contacted Hotel Nord to try to resolve this, and messaged them to say I wanted to cancel. They ignored both approaches, refused to do anything, and have kept the entire €1,100 arguing it was a non-refundable booking. Booking.com were no better. While they presented themselves as sympathetic to my position, they refused to intermediate with the hotel and point-blank declined even to discuss refunding the fee they themselves took on the booking. Neither Hotel Nord nor Booking.com would have suffered any material loss by showing a shred of flexibility. Instead they pocketed the full €1,100 for a room we tried in good faith to sort out in advance and in ample time. It's plain greed, and it treats customers like dirt. Don't book this hotel, and don't book through Booking.com. Avoid!

I couldn’t fault my stay. From the hospitality, room, location, and so much more, everything was exceptional. The room was clean and comfortable with a modern bathroom, which a lot of hotels don’t have! All the staff were incredibly lovely and assisted us whenever we needed. The hotel director even gave us a lift too the bus station when the local bus didn’t turn up. For value for money and experience, I would 100% be coming back!

Very hospitable structure! Comfortable rooms with modern bathrooms, large lobby with convenient coffee facility, hearty breakfast with delicious cakes and choice of sweet and savory foods and milk of many varieties. Friendly and flexible staff, special thanks to Mr. Skandel and Miss Anastasia.
