Pontechiesa

The hotel was incredibly friendly, comfortable and well located. Parking available. Late night bar. Breakfast was good and no delays in eating or ordering.

Also this year, for the tenth year or so, I went back to spend my skiing holiday at the Pontechiesa hotel where it feels like home. It is a family/local management hotel, which is very important and not obvious nowadays (so to privilege and support), simple but very nice and spotless, with typical wooden and traditional furniture, which is also now in danger of extinction given all the horrible minimal furnishings, good food, very kind and always helpful staff, good prices and optimal area since it is very close to the center but at the same time out of the chaos, so much so that it almost seems to be in another country, and with the sound of the boite that relaxes and cheers the stay. There is also a spa, small but delicious and in each room there is, on arrival, a pair of very useful slippers (really great service and rare even in 4/5 star hotels). Finally, which is also very important, there's no snobbery, there's no need to appear, it's just like being at home. I come to Cortina also because I know I am in this hotel, I look for nothing else and I would not change.

Great property for location and services. Close to the center and the Tofane facilities. Clean and well managed rooms. Excellent cuisine in half board
