The hotel was worn out, old-fashioned. Very worn out. One wonders how they clean. And I wonder how they handle hygiene in the restaurant. The balcony was not pleasant at all. What was positive was that the AC worked. A big plus. The staff, the younger guys, were very nice and fixed and donated. We were there with Scandorama. No, I'm not going back there again.

The stay at the Hotel Royal was rather disappointing and there are several aspects that, in our opinion, should be improved. The rooms are dated, but they were clean. The entrance to the bathroom also has a step that can be dangerous. We also had an unpleasant episode: the cleaning ladies were about to enter the room without knocking, but fortunately they were stopped in time and did not enter. We believe it would be more correct to knock and always check before entering the room. A positive point is certainly the staff: the girl at the reception and the waiters in the dining room were kind, helpful, and courteous. Unfortunately, however, the quality of the food disappointed us. Both dinner and breakfast were of low quality and not particularly good. Overall, the experience was not satisfactory. The staff certainly deserves recognition for their kindness, but the property, the rooms, and especially the quality of the catering would need a clear improvement.

Great hotel, great location, large and air-conditioned rooms, excellent pool, excellent breakfast. Highly recommended
