Almar Jesolo Resort & Spa

We spent five nights as a family at the Almar in Jesolo and had a very nice stay overall. The hotel is a modern, well-maintained, and very clean facility and definitely belongs to the better establishments in Jesolo for us. We therefore recommend it. We particularly liked the spacious pool area with the additional indoor area as well as our room. It was clean, spacious, and tastefully furnished, and featured a nice bathroom, sufficient storage space, and a generous balcony. The cleaning service was also reliable and very good. We found the staff at the reception to be friendly, helpful, and professional. We would also like to highlight the free underground parking and the option to charge our electric car there for free as well – a truly special service. We were somewhat disappointed with our booked side sea view. In our room, the sea could only be seen if you leaned far over the balcony. Since this category comes with a surcharge, we would have expected a significantly better view. In addition, the room was oriented toward the waste collection area and the kindergarten. The garbage collection in particular caused disturbing noise as early as 4 a.m. at times. We addressed this issue at the reception right after the first night. Unfortunately, our complaint was rather dismissed with the statement: "Yes, that is annoying, but you know that from home yourself – it is not equally bad every day." We did not find this reaction particularly satisfactory, given the early hour and the fact that we saw our sleep disturbed precisely because of the noise. Here, we would have wished for more understanding and perhaps a concrete solution or at least a more serious engagement with the problem. A more transparent description of the room location and potential noise disturbance would also be useful in our view. We also see room for improvement at the beach. Although there were enough sun loungers available, some spots in the front rows were reserved without it being clearly apparent for whom or according to what system. These loungers often remained unused. Better signage and communication would provide more clarity here. Unfortunately, the beach service did not quite meet our expectations for a 5-star hotel. During our stay, staff who helped with towels or loungers were rarely present. Also, hardly anyone was available for drink orders at the lounger. It was noticeable that significantly more activity could be observed as soon as the manager was present on the beach. We would like to see this attentive service guaranteed consistently regardless of that. The maintenance and cleaning of the sun loungers could also be improved. However, the biggest point of criticism for us was the breakfast. At first glance, the buffet seems extensive, but in terms of quality and presentation, it does not fully meet the standard we expect from a 5-star hotel in this price range. We would have liked, among other things, olives, antipasti, and a higher-quality and more varied selection of cheese and cold cuts. Overall, the selection seemed somewhat uninspired in its presentation. The egg station did not convince us either. Omelets and fried eggs were often pre-made and kept warm under a heat lamp, which caused the quality to deteriorate quickly. Upon request, the eggs were prepared fresh without any issues, but in our opinion, this should be a matter of course in a hotel of this category and not have to be explicitly requested. It is a positive that coffee is served at the table. At the same time, however, additional breakfast dishes such as Eggs Benedict or avocado are offered for an extra charge. We find that inappropriate for a hotel in this price range. When you pay a corresponding room rate, a high-quality and varied breakfast should, in our view, be fully included. A revision of the concept would certainly make sense here. Despite these points of criticism, we had a lovely vacation and particularly appreciate the well-maintained grounds, the beautiful rooms, the pool area, the cleanliness, the friendly reception service, as well as the free underground parking including EV charging options. In our view, the Almar has very good prerequisites to fully live up to its 5-star claim. For that, the service at the beach would have to be more reliable and attentive, complaints should be taken more seriously, and the breakfast should be significantly upgraded in terms of quality.

Do you know the phrase "may all your wishes come true"? Well, for the Almar team, this is their priority. Their customer service is all-encompassing, and for them, the most important thing is that the customer feels pampered and safe in an atmosphere of familiarity and professionalism in all the sectors that compose it: customer service, housekeeping, dining, spa and beach service, and the impeccable management. Everyone, each in their own field, works their best to ensure nothing is ever missing. Well done! And so, thank you for always letting us spend perfect vacations!

Beautiful hotel, perfect for families as well as couples. It’s modern, very clean and the staff are professional and lovely. It has its own beach area and a pool with the added extra of a covered part, which is out of the sun. Breakfast was great with plenty to suit everyone. The hotel is perfectly located near to many shops, bars and restaurants. We took restaurant recommendations from the hotel reception, they were all spot on, the food was absolutely delicious. Jesolo itself is impressively clean and smart. We had a fantastic holiday and will definitely come back!
