Hotel Maracaibo

Pleasant hotel, very friendly and available staff. Appetizer buffet well-stocked, but often dishes are missing if you arrive a little after opening time. The breakfast buffet is mainly for the Germanic clientele, the bread and pastries are passable. Everything is very clean, the interior of the buildings but also the exterior which is cleaned by permanent passages. Our room was good, we would have liked a balcony instead of a door with a railing and 2 armchairs. The shower was very small, impossible to bend down, possibility to make it bigger by removing the bidet from another era. We had booked 3 days before our arrival for a one-week stay and no longer have a choice.

We stayed at the Park Hotel Maracaibo in Jesolo for two nights at the price of €520. Overall, the experience was just barely sufficient: while on one hand there are appreciable services, on the other hand we encountered several structural and management flaws that we do not consider to be worth the amount spent. Strengths (Pros) External services: The presence of the pool and private beach is very convenient, easily accessible, and relaxing. Staff: A note of merit for the courtesy and helpfulness of the staff, who were always kind in their interactions. The Critical Issues (Cons) Soundproofing of the rooms: The sound insulation is insufficient. We woke up very early every morning due to noises coming from the adjacent rooms (people talking, children screaming, and the noise of the bathrooms in the adjacent rooms). Bathroom maintenance: The wall-mounted hair dryer, besides being a decidedly dated model, was broken and would not turn off unless the plug was pulled directly from the outlet. The shower holder would not stay in place, with the result that the shower head kept falling on our heads during use. Breakfast management: The overall quality of the breakfast was mediocre. The main problem concerned the hygiene of the savory section: the cold cuts were literally swarming with bees that were eating directly inside the serving dishes. It would have been enough to cover the dishes with protective domes to avoid risks and inconvenience. Value for money and check-out details: After paying €520 for two nights, finding the charge for half-liter bottles of water on the final bill (charged at a full €2.50 each, when even 1-star properties offer them as a welcome) leaves an unpleasant sense of a lack of class. Final Considerations The property enjoys excellent basic services such as a pool and beach, but it needs maintenance work in the rooms, greater attention to covering buffet food, and a less nitpicky hospitality policy regarding small details to justify rates at this level.

The first time we stayed at this hotel, Maracaibo, and I must say that I liked its location in La Pineta much more than many other hotels in Lido di Jesolo. Outside the property there are not many attractions, bars, or shops like, for example, on Via Bafile, but a small Family supermarket is just a few steps away. Thanks to the pines of La Pineta, the air here was very pleasant and you could smell the scent of the maritime pines. The hotel is quite spacious, with several areas to relax: near the pool, among the pines, and directly on the beach. The beach is beautiful, with shallow, clean, and transparent water. I would like to thank the whole team and the chef, who pampered us with wonderful, delicious, and abundant dishes. A special joy was seeing the show cooking, with the first and second courses prepared before our eyes. All the staff were very kind and helpful, always ready to assist. A special thanks to the waiters. And, naturally, a special note for the desserts: they were all delicious, I tasted practically all of them and was truly enthusiastic. We had a room with a balcony, we could open it at night and sleep without air conditioning. There was absolute silence, good soundproofing, the room was clean and tidy. One of the activities that I particularly liked was the bicycles. We rented them at a cost of 1 euro per hour. I highly recommend them to everyone! We were left with very positive impressions of this hotel, even though the property in general is not modern and our room was small.
