Hotel Maximilian

Out second visit to this beautiful hotel but this time bringing our son, daughter in law and granddaughter, we had the best time the rooms were immaculate and spacious, breakfast offers so Lucy choice with delicious food, our granddaughter especially loved the swimming pool and going up and down in the lift and also going down to the lakeside to see the ducks , we have had the best time with the hotel being the base and visiting lots of beautiful places, the staff at the hotel are just wonderful and it was lovely to see them again. Elizabeth on reception, the gardener that is always working and the lovely lady in charge of the linen who also never stopped, the waiters and waitresses, the lovely lady making fresh omelettes and eggs each morning always smiling our granddaughter loved all the attention that all the staff gave her, they are truly amazing all of them Grazie to all of them until the next time 🎉🎉

We have recently returned from a great two week holiday in Hotel Maximilian. Firstly the hotel has a stunning location, situated on the lakeside overlooking a small bay and backed by mountains. The hotel is set in extensive beautiful gardens which add to its ambience. It is well placed for walking the lakeside path into Malcesine which takes about 25 minutes. Our immaculate room was spacious and opened onto a lovely grass terrace above the swimming pool and lake. We enjoyed the outdoor furniture and sunbeds provided for individual use. Our friendly welcome was second to none by the lovely Elizabeth. The weather and warm temperature made sure that all of our meals were taken outdoors in the lovely dining room overlooking the bay. The dining room staff were exceptional as was the choice of breakfast food. The five course evening meals were varied and delicious. We travelled with Inghams and this hotel is one of the best we have experienced. We shall certainly be returning.

A wonderfully relaxing week at Hotel Maximilian at Lake Garda. We had a spacious room with a terrace overlooking the beautiful, well-maintained garden with many old olive trees and direct access to the lake. A relaxed atmosphere with friendly staff and a very good breakfast and dinner ensured an excellent vacation. We would gladly come back. Ute and Hans-Hermann Elbers
