Stayed with 8 other families for ten nights in conjunction with the European Waszp sailing championship and foiling week at Fraglia Vela Malcesine. Perfect location with walking distance to sailing club along safe walkway and views of the club and the sailing on the lake (we saw more from the hotel than from the club and got fantastic videos). The rooms are newly redecorated, spacious and very fresh and comfortable, all with air conditioning. The apartment is perfect for a family of four and has two balconies overlooking the lake. The host and staff are exceptional, will do anything for you! The restaurant is amazing and the menu extensive and well priced. We never eat anywhere else and the children (aged 12 and 14) felt at home and safe. Highly recommended and we will be coming back here every time!

While travelling as a large family staying there just for one day we might have had different criteria than you do. THE GOOD The lake view from the terrace in an inner yard pays it all. The hotel is a small family run hotel with large terrace with a lake view. The terrace is very safe for the kids so they can not get to the road. The room we had was quite large to accomodate three adults (two beds, double+single) baby bed (offered by hotel) and still enough space. There is a large playground and a beach at the lake within a short walk. The fresh fruits are sold right next to the hotel. Some restaurants are close to the site if you prefer to go out. Nevertheless we enjoyed our dinner at the restaurant in the hotel. All in all nice place to stay one night but not much to do. THE REST The parking lot is just 3 min walk from the hotel but there is no way you can park at the hotel entrance. This was our main concern. The hotel is situated next to the main road. The rooms located on higher floors require stair climbing so we preferred to keep baby strollers down there. To get to the lake you need to cross quite an active traffic street. Personally, we prefer the other side of the Garda lake which is cliffy, more romantic and beautiful.
