Hotel Albatros

Hotel worthy of a budget chain, avoid plastic cups for breakfast, fruit juice made from water, and coffee machine like in a supermarket, pass your way

Very bad, the worst hotel I have ever been to; the bathroom has not been renovated since the hotel was built, and it was very dirty, the faucets very old; the buffet was mediocre; they had the apples cut into wedges, all oxidized; very poor image; I will not return.

We stayed at this hotel during a tour of Italy, and our experience does not match what we expect from a 4-star hotel. The bathroom in the room was in poor condition, with rusty faucets and clear signs of lack of maintenance. Additionally, the curtains in the dining room were visibly dirty, giving an overall impression of little care for the facilities. Later, when we reported our complaint to the travel agency, they indicated that the hotel is officially a 4-star hotel and that we should have communicated the issues during our stay. However, we believe that certain aspects, such as cleanliness and basic maintenance of the facilities, should meet minimum standards without the customer having to request them. After our stay, we have found that other travelers have also reported similar problems related to the condition of the bathrooms, cleanliness, and maintenance of the hotel, so our opinion does not seem to be an isolated case. The location may be convenient for visiting Venice, but we believe that the overall condition of the hotel does not match the advertised category.
