Motel Monterosa

With a group of cyclist friends, we stayed for three nights and encountered professionalism and courtesy. We were able to store the bicycles for the night in a large room facing the motel structure; for cars, there are two large parking lots. At the restaurant, you can choose an à la carte menu or a fixed two-course menu for € 20.00. Breakfast is served in the bar adjacent to the property and is good. The Motel is located in a strategic position to be able to move quickly for trips to Lake Mergozzo and Lake Maggiore and to the Formazza/Vigezzo/Devero/Anzasca valleys. We had to call hotel because it is located 2km north of the GPS coordinates. This area has marble and granite mining and a nice shoe and handbag outlet. The hotel was newer and had all the usual amenities with enough parking. We ate the included breakfast in the bar next door. As this is not a tourist area, it is handy to speak some Italian.
