Crowne Plaza Venice Est

This hotel is impeccable from every point of view. The hotel overlooks a street where there is also a bike path, while from the back you can find the station 🚉 with which a tourist or a worker can get around very easily. The location is a spacious hotel with very well-kept and clean common areas, elevators, and Wi-Fi. The breakfast and dinner room are perfect; among other things, I posted some photos of some of the dishes I ate in the evening, but the menu is vast and every dish is exceptional. The room was a very spacious suite for 4 with a bathtub and hydromassage shower, sinks stocked with soap bars, body wash, and shampoo, 2 LG televisions of about 40\", very comfortable beds, and a welcome basket that is updated every day with tea bags, coffee, cookies, cups, and Panna water (there is also a machine to make tea). Among other things, everything is managed with a very convenient card to insert into a slot near the door to be able to turn on the lights, and then remove it to have the lights turn off automatically. Impeccable and kind staff, especially the waiters. Really nice hotel.

Good rooms and breakfast. With the exception of Reception, the staff was rather surly. One key advantage of this hotel is its location of the rail station to and from Venice is right behind the hotel. Depending upon which train you take, travel time is 20 to 35 minutes with a ticket cost of 4 Euros 5 cents each way. To prevent getting fined, REMEMBER TO VALIDATE THE TICKET AT ANOTHER DIFFERENT MACHINE! Board on Track 3 going and exit the train on Track 2 returning. When exiting the station in Venice, the Grand Canal is right in front. Purchase a one day ticket for 25 Euros or a two day for 35 Euros for the municipal water bus and you're off to St. Mark's Square (Piazza San Marco).

We recently stayed here because it was convenient to get to the airport for an early morning flight the next day. The hotel seems a bit rundown and like a lot of hotels in the area it seems has some bugs and air conditioning issues. Our room was not well-kept visually with marks and paint chips on the walls, but overall was thoroughly clean. The best part of our stay was by far Mizan in the bar though! He was such a delight, and unbelievably kind. He was a great bartender and made a wonderful pizza for us as well. We were a bit frustrated with the condition of our room for the price paid, but Mizan's courtesy and energy made our stay worth it. The shuttle service was also very helpful and the driver was great.
