Hotel Al Caminetto

We stayed at this hotel for five days and paid €1,127, including breakfast. Unfortunately, our experience was far below what we expected from a 4-star hotel. The breakfast looked appealing at first glance, but the quality was disappointing. Neither of us eats pork, and that seemed to be the only meat option available. There was a large selection of small items, but very little of substance. Drinks were not freely available and had to be requested. Every morning, we were only asked once what we would like to drink, and after that there was no further attention from the staff. For a 4-star hotel, we expected a much higher level of service and hospitality during breakfast. The cold cuts were clearly not fresh. Every single day, the sliced meats had dried-out edges, indicating that they had been sitting out for far too long. The fruit was bruised, looked old, and certainly did not taste fresh. This is simply not the standard you would expect from a 4-star hotel, especially considering the price we paid. The room also had several maintenance issues. The refrigerator leaked from the day we arrived. Although it was cleaned once, the problem returned immediately, and we eventually had to remove a large block of ice ourselves. The LED strip on the mirror was hanging loose, and the shower door did not close properly. We reported all of these issues to a male member of staff at the hotel and personally informed him about these problems. We were told that some issues were already known, but despite reporting them, no action was taken to resolve them during our stay. What disappointed us most was the service. When we checked out, we were not greeted, thanked for our stay, or asked how our experience had been. There was no communication or any form of personal interaction at all. We informed the male staff member that we were checking out and stood there waiting, without knowing what was happening or what the next step was. The only action taken was that the payment terminal was placed in front of us, without any explanation or further communication. We found this extremely impersonal, discourteous, and far below the level of hospitality expected from a 4-star hotel. We later discovered that the male staff member to whom we had reported all of these issues, and the same person who failed to acknowledge us properly at check-out, was actually the owner of the hotel. This made the lack of hospitality and professionalism even more disappointing. Throughout our stay, we did not feel taken seriously as guests. We reported several problems and expected them to be addressed, but unfortunately nothing was done. This gave us the impression that our concerns were not valued. What is also disappointing is that, based on the information and reviews presented on various online platforms, this hotel appears to maintain a very high standard. Unfortunately, our personal experience did not reflect that image at all. The level of service, attention to detail, and overall hospitality we experienced were not in line with what we expected from a 4-star hotel. To make matters worse, this is our second attempt to raise these concerns. Our first email has been completely ignored, which we find both unprofessional and disrespectful. A simple acknowledgement would have been the very least we expected from a hotel that values its guests. Overall, this hotel did not deliver the quality, hospitality, or service that its 4-star rating suggests. Several problems were reported during our stay, yet nothing was done to resolve them. For €1,127 for just five days, we expected a much higher standard. Sadly, based on our experience, we cannot recommend this hotel.

We stayed for several days in this town, Towers emanates a very specific atmosphere, the view of the lake and 'unica.Hotel renovated and modernized with skillful ability, but above all Mr. Orsolini jr. allowed us to change our aversion regarding the restaurants included in hotel facilities, we had dinner as Christ commands, the chef of Sicilian origin, if I remember correctly, gave us a constant proof of his ability' (the amberjack Tatar deserves a separate mention), wine list definitely suited to the Menu, probably some labels due to the vast Teutonic presence (at that time I was the only indigenous), and a compliment for the sympathy that transmits Mr. Orsolini (thanks also to the flowing hair that recalls past memories). Recommended place not only for the restaurant but also for those who love Lake Garda as a battery recharge (of course the quality has its price).

Small hotel (35 maximum guests) for adults only, in a strategic position, with lake view even from the side rooms. Modern rooms equipped with all amenities and very attentive and courteous staff
