Hotel Al Castello

For a 2 star hotel this one ticks all the boxes. It’s actually better than some 4 star hotels we’ve stayed in!, Brilliant position just before the town centre, spotlessly clean , very comfortable bed. Nothing fussy with decor but everything you need. Our shower was fine for us but maybe a bit tight for larger people! In room No fridge , iron or coffee facility but this is 2 star after all and these can be added in at extra cost . No restaurant facilities for lunch or dinner but not a problem as you are just over the road from loads of lovely bars and restaurants! Breakfast totally adequate for our needs with everything else you normally get and all very fresh and tasty, and machine does excellent coffee! Special mention to the breakfast server Dellita , who speaks excellent English and German and who genuinely can’t do enough for you and is a very pleasant person to see every morning. You can see the 2 star rating because of some of the omissions listed and a basic small bar and outdoor area, but in my opinion it definitely punches above this.

This family-run hotel is a little gem: you immediately feel the care and passion of the owners, always kind and helpful. The cleanliness is impeccable, every environment is tidy and cozy, and it really feels like home. Breakfast was a pleasant surprise: varied, plentiful and with fresh produce, perfect to start the day with a smile. The location is really ideal: convenient to reach everything, but at the same time super quiet, perfect for relaxing and completely disconnecting. A big plus is the indoor parking, convenient and stress-free. Really everything perfect: we will definitely return and recommend it from the heart!

Hotel was perfect and so friendly - one minute from the lake. lots of nice open - air restaurants around the lake. Stunning water & mountains. Amazing thunder storms on the lake added to holiday. A great place to use as a centre. we also went to Venice, Milan & Verona - great trip. Would certainly go here again. Highly recommended.
