Hotel Al Caval

Top-notch value for money. The location is strategic to say the least: you cross the street and you are on the beach with lounge chairs and umbrellas available for free. Town center is 2 steps away, on the beach there is a large bar with entertainment. Superlative breakfast.

The hotel is in a good location: you cross the street and there is the beach. To go downtown, going to the lakefront, the walk is pleasant and short. The staff is friendly and helpful, the breakfast good, the rooms nice and clean. There is the possibility to park your car in small clearings within the hotel area and to borrow sun loungers for the beach. Despite being on the Garda is quiet.

We spent five nights at the Al Caval in October. Torri is a good central base for traveling in the area around Lake Garda. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. The breakfasts featured a great buffet but you could also get eggs to order as well as your favorite custom coffee drink. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. Although the hotel is on the main street through town, we were not bothered by traffic. They also provide guest parking. Easy walking distance to the old town/fortress and many great dining and drinking opportunities. We loved the place and intend to return.
