Villa Soligo

We stayed in this beautiful villa for a wedding of our dear friends, then staying in a wonderful, impeccably clean, and comfortable room. The breakfast is well-stocked with every dish. And the courtesy of the staff has always been up to par, especially Benedetta, who assisted us with every need. Truly a satisfying experience at Villa Soligo!

Deficient, unprofessional service from the reception to the breakfast staff. The young ladies were helplessly overwhelmed with the service at breakfast. The tables were only inadequately cleaned and set anew, mostly only upon request. With the low number of tables, this is quite disappointing. Bread and juices were mostly not replenished. Even more so, the service staff leaned bored against the door frame and observed the colorful hustle and bustle. Neither was the breakfast procedure explained to anyone, nor was there any mention of the possibility to order freshly prepared egg dishes. Moreover, it was impossible to get something to drink during the day. No staff came to the pool either. The villa is beautiful, but the outdoor area, especially the pool, has aged, is unhygienic, and poorly maintained. Overall, one can tell that obviously incompetent individuals are working in management. The majority of the staff appeared to be untrained beginners who were left alone.

The hotel is located in a beautiful Venetian villa, complete with park and swimming pool. The lobby is beautiful: large windows, large living rooms, sofas and important Venetian chandeliers master the scene. All merged with more modern furnishings, great taste. Very nice also the dehors at the back of the villa, it will certainly be pleasant to have breakfast and / or an aperitif during the summer. A convenient parking inside the villa, allows you to park your car without problems. Our room was very large and with large windows. The entrance area had wardrobes and kettle corner with coffee/herbal teas. Modern furniture: very nice furniture in which the TV is inserted, with mirror area, which can also be used as a make-up area. A large and comfortable bed in the middle of the room. A bit out of context the 70s fabric chandelier... if there had been a Venetian chandelier, it would have given that extra “quid” to the room! Given the generous size of the room, it would take something to enhance the wall of the bed: a wallpaper, a painting, etc... it looked a bit bare/empty. The bathroom of right size, but with a spacious shower. Very nice coating reminiscent of Venetian grit, definitely suitable for a Venetian villa. Given the peculiarity of the sink, it would take an extra place to put your things. The breakfast outfitter in a beautiful room, where nothing was missing. Buffet with sweet and savory. The girl in the breakfast room, perhaps a little 'for inexperience, took a long time to bring us two coffees, and in the room we were only 4 people. I would like to write a note here: take more care in cleaning the windows, on the stairs behind the elevator. The stay was still good and we would definitely stay there again!
