We were in pairs over the weekend, I state that we were not looking for perfection and certainly for the price is up to scratch. It remains outside the “crowded center” in a neighborhood especially suburban but still very safe and close to Ponte degli Barzo. The gentleman who welcomed us super friendly and helpful especially for those who have no idea what to visit. The cleanliness is actually not impeccable, like breakfast, rich yes, but for a person who likes everything and does not have many pretensions.

Went here with 2 colleagues for a University conference. We took a very spacious triple room, clean, warm and perfectly arranged. The staff was very kind and also helped us with practical advice on how to get around the city. The location is perfect for staying close to the station and away from the tourist bustle. If there are other conferences at the University we will definitely return. Excellent abundant breakfast that can also be eaten in the room.

You'll notice all of the "excellent" and "very good" reviews are quite old. Don't be fooled by them. This place is awful. From the rock hard bed with the soiled mattress pad to the broken towel racks to the moldy wall to the week old breakfast croissants, you could not find a worse place to stay.
