B&B Al Saor

We had a wonderful time in Venice. Apartment was very clean and the owner even let us move to a bigger room after one night without any additional charge for cleaning. Very recommendable Thank you so much!

Good location next to the water bus stop. Room is small and a bit outdated, bed is uncomfortable. Breakfast is ok with not much choice but very friendly host. They won’t accept card payment, cash only, which made check-out very inconvenient.

We stayed for 4 nights here & were happy with most things. Firstly, in our opinion, the location was ideal! This was our first visit to Venice, so we weren't sure where to stay, but the Cannaregio region was so easy to get to the centre, but near areas with better & cheaper food & drink. It is a 2 minute, straight forward walk from the nearest water bus stop. The room was on the second floor, which was ok for us, but not easy if steps are an issue. Also, the bathroom is up 3 steep steps, which isn't great, especially during the night. Apart from those issues, the room is warm & comfy, but Wi-Fi isn't available on the second floor. The kitchen area was a great bonus, which allowed us to breakfast in the room. The breakfast offered by the b&b is €5 each. We had it one morning, but we were sat in a ground floor room, on our own, which wasn't great. I would imagine that the breakfast offered on the outside terrace, when the weather is much better, would be a much nicer experience. Apart from a brief conversation with the owner on our first morning, we had no contract with anyone else, either guests or owners. The owner was very good at giving info by e-mail, but there was no real interaction or information in the b&b, which was a shame. All in all, we were happy with our stay and felt it was good value for money. If we visit Venice again, we would be happy to stay here again, but maybe on the first floor.
