Bellevue & Canaletto Suites

Amazing location right on St Marks Square with a view of St Marks basilica. We had the 2 bed suite / 2 bath suite and sauna. It was all very nicely appointed and very comfortable. Breakfast was served each day in our room - which allowed us to enjoy our suite and the view more. A couple of notes for future guests, the reception is across the little lane from the suite and signage is discrete. The master bathroom has a bath / shower combo set up where you have to sit in the bath to use the shower head. However the ability to have a spa/ jacuzzi was very nice! There is no direct access to canals - so you need to carry your luggage from ferry or water taxi to hotel - flat and easy but just so you know!

Forget about luxury Venetian hotels - and we have tried several of them over the years we have been going to Venice - Danieli, Luna Baglioni, Ca'sagredo, Ai Reali, to name a few. In the case of the apartment with a terrace, which we rented, you will get a 70 m2 luxuriously furnished apartment with a large terrace with a unique view of most of the monuments on San Marco Square. And for a significantly lower price than you would get for a similar apartment in a luxury 5-star hotel. Every morning you will be greeted by an opulent breakfast, served directly to your suite. Mornings with breakfast on the terrace overlooking San Marco are simply magical and highly addictive. The charm of this accommodation is further enhanced by the uniqueness of the building in which Canaletto Luxury Suites - San Marco Luxury is located - the 15th-century Clock Tower, Torre di Orologio. The house where the great Venetian painter Canaletto once lived.

The absolute best, most enchanting stay ever in Venice.!he hotel location is unbelievable, the view unique.The Suite was fabulously well designed, like a maisonette, perfect style , colour and furniture, somptuous bathroom with all amenities one can need, discrete kitchenette corner, a private sauna(!), an always filled fridge, and very nice in room breakfast that you can define by yourself.On all this 100/100 points we add the same score for the perfection in cleaning and housekeeping. And above all let us mention the superbly helping reception crew with Chiara and Martina,alwaysrepondings with information and perfect water-taxi coordination from airport to San Marco and Back.This was a holiday experience that we will have to note at 5 stars L , and we will never chose another place than this when we travel again to the laguna dream. Thanks for this experience, it is worth every Euro spent.I do not remember any other 4 or 5 stars hotel in Venice that could repeat this. JJ+Y
