It was a pleasant surprise: friendly staff, hotel a few steps from St. Mark's Square. Average rooms for a three star and fair prices for the hotel. Would stay again.

I would like to share my experience about my recent stay at Hotel Bridge in Venice. Although I appreciate the central location and the friendliness of the staff, the room unfortunately did not meet my expectations for a 3-star hotel. The room was very small and stuffy. The bathroom had an area of about 1.5 by 1.5 meters, in which both a shower, toilet and a fountain were placed. This made for a particularly uncomfortable experience. In the room itself there was hardly any room to move – when walking you almost immediately bumped into the bed. In addition, the air conditioning did not work, which aggravated the stuffiness. Unfortunately, opening the window was not a solution either, because there was considerable noise pollution from the street. This ensured that the stay was generally not relaxing. If I had known in advance that the room would be so small and uncomfortable, I would have preferred a simpler 1-star hotel with more space and tranquility. I find it difficult to understand that this room is offered as a 3-star accommodation. This does not seem acceptable to me and I hope you take this feedback seriously and use it to better inform guests and possibly revise the room layout, amenities and classification.
