BW Montecarlo

This was an excellent hotel in all respects. The location is great - very convenient to the sights and water bus. The staff members were very helpful and friendly. The best thing is that the room was spacious which is not usually the case in smaller European hotels. The water pressure was great as was the supply of hot water. Air conditioning worked well which is essential in July! Bed was comfortable and the lobby was welcoming and clean. Despite being on a busy walking street, the room was quiet. We did not have breakfast there so I can't comment on that. I will say that we stayed at 3 different hotels while in Venice for various reasons that this one was by far the best. Would recommend.

Hotel Montecarlo stands out for the elegance and functionality of its spaces, the good quality and variety of the breakfast buffet, as well as the kindness and professionalism of the staff. The location is optimal, just a few dozen meters from Piazza San Marco; a significant detail, considering the honesty of the rates applied by the hotel. Highly recommended.

We arrived in the morning after walking on foot from Canareggio (do not recommend) We had only hoped to store our bags for a few hours before check in time. To my surprise, they immediately apologized the room wasn’t ready and promised it would only take twenty minutes. We left all our bags and headed out for ice cream. When we came back, the room was ready and all our luggage had been whisked upstairs! Such incredible service, extra helpful for a single parent to young kids. We stayed in a triple room. The room was big and the furniture was very charming. We even had our own ac unit in the room! Only con was the flimsy white curtains. No chance to block out the sun so we woke early.
