We were not informed about any building works happening at all during our stay. When we arrived we were in utter shock The entrance was completely unsafe and in accessible for children lots loose wires, dangerous power tools left around, unsafe flooring. Head height scaffolding we had to duck under with suitcases and children. With children we were so worried as scaffolding made unsafe access to the bedrooms. We complained to our host during our stay. Also due to scaffolding we couldn’t open the windows which made the time spent in apartment dark with no fresh air. The noisy work started early in the morning so we couldn’t even sleep past 8am. We contacted the host post our trip to complain and he apologised and offered 20% refund which we didn’t feel adequate to compensate but agreed to accept. we have NEVER even received this. I would like the host to respond to my concerns immediately. Strongly advise anyone not to stay here or deal with this host!

Nicely done interiors, with spacious rooms and kitchen. Clean and well equipped.
It is on 2nd floor with no lift and hence once should be ready to lug up the luggage.
It is located near to central area, with easy access to boat stations on grand canal (a few minutes walk). Rialto bridge is very near and San Marco square is also at a walking distance (maybe 15 -20 mins).
Owners/ operators dont stay on premises and hence definitely make prior arrangement for collecting keys on arrival, with precise time & instructions, especially if you do not have data access on phone or dont want to make expensive international roaming call upon arrival. Also, mostly no one will be able to guide you to the apartment in Venice, even if you are just 2 blocks away... Addresses are minimal and not fully helpful to navigate by self or by asking around.

We were greeted by the owner of the apartment as she waited up for us to arrive after 10pm! She was very friendly and welcoming. There was a breakfast prepared for us every morning including coffee, tea, juice, croissants, jams and biscuits. The location is fantastic, a very short walk from the Rialto vaporetto station and only about 10 minutes walk to St Mark's Square.
The apartment was large and we had a very spacious room and our own bathroom as well. It was very clean and all of the facilities worked well.
There was air conditioning in our room which was fantastic in the hot weather.
It was nice to stay in an apartment instead of a hotel as it gives you a feel for living in the city.
I would highly recommend this place!
