Where to begin. The good news is the location is near the train station. You HAVE TO call to be escorted to it. We couldn't because my phone wasn't working and Google maps has the location totally wrong. The unit was clean. The bathroom is very nice but the shower door is hard to close properly so my wife ended up with a puddle on the floor. There is only one usable outlet. The one by the microwave didn't work. The old mattress is terrible with Springs and buttons poking us. It’s very dark. No extra toilet paper, no kleenex or paper towels. The door handle came off in my hand. One chair was broken.

The location absolutely can't be beat. Tucked just slightly away in a very busy area on the main Road running through Venice- you feel as if you are a local. Apartment was cute, enjoyed having a kitchen even though utensils were minimum. The bed however, oh gosh probably the most uncomfortable bed we slept on in all of our 34 days in Europe. This place was nice, but overpriced for sure- the most expensive stay we had in Europe and definitely not the nicest. Woke up both mornings with lots of mosquito bites.

Positive: Clean Neutral: Ground floor not too dark not too noisy Negative: we expect a hotel from the name but it's only a flat which is separated from another flat with an internal door which doesn't protect you from the neighbor sounds. Flat has separate entrance. Nobody was waiting us you have to call the owner when you arrive. Many mosquitos in the room but maybe general in Venice.
