Casa di Sara Bed and Breakfast

Our host was a very kind. The local was easy to get to everything. The breakfasts were nice. We were in the ground floor room. The marble floor looks like the water was taking its toll on it. There were holes where the marble has eroded. The floor never felt clean I think do to the marble disintegrating. Our bathroom was worn out. The shower was stained and did not work well. We started showering at night becuase hot water was soon gone in the mornings.

Casa di Sara also arranged for our airport transfer when we had to be picked up at 3A.M.! The room was clean and one room had free wifi. Breakfast was available. The price and location are attractive. Restaurants and sandwich shops are nearby too.

We loved staying here. Emanuel was cordial. Our room was comfortable, but the WiFi was spotty at times. Tatiana served coffee and rolls for breakfast and the blood orange juice was delicious. They also provided bottles of water. We were able to store some of our drinks in the refrigerator in the breakfast room. The location in Dusoduro was convenient for us. It seemed so quiet most of the time, in this neighborhood. We wandered the alleys and Campos along the canals, sometimes late at night and never felt threatened. As far as the charm and uniqueness of Venice, just enjoy it. We finally accepted the fact that no matter how hard we tried to find places on our map or even with our phones, we were always lost. We had the luxury of lots of time to wander, but if you need to get somewhere fast (you may not get there in time) 😫
