Super concierge, Mustafa is professional and very pleasant. The breakfast lady is very kind. The location is ideal for visiting Venice without suffering too much crowds.

I strongly advise against staying at Hotel Corte Contarina. The staff’s behavior was unacceptable and made me feel unsafe. The receptionist became aggressive and verbally abusive toward a friend of mine, shouting and using offensive language in front of other guests. The situation was so threatening that I decided to leave the hotel immediately. The room for 3 people (2 separate beds + sofa bed) did not match the confirmed booking. The beds were pushed together, and the extra bed was squeezed into a tiny space, making the room extremely cramped and uncomfortable. The bathroom was nearly unusable – the water temperature was either scalding hot or freezing cold, and the water pressure often dropped to zero. Many other guests have also reported similar issues in reviews. Overall, the experience was extremely stressful and disappointing. Between the misleading room, dysfunctional facilities, and aggressive staff, I cannot recommend this hotel to anyone.

The hotel is close to the Arsenal of Venice, that is to say on the other end of Venice, but in a quiet place, and you arrive in 10 minutes to the square San Marco. The spacious room, with a large bed and 2 singles. With tiled walls and classic furniture. Breakfast was fine, but there was only one person, so when it was finished something would not be replenished, just like dishes... One peculiar thing was that there were rooms that were accessed from the dining room, so there were people who left their room between the tables. They left us our dog for free. Aire, wifi... I would certainly repeat.
