Stayed at the hotel in the summer of 2018. Chose it because of the proximity to the train station and price.
We traveled with our 14 year old daughter, had a room with 2 beds and a bathroom. Everything was clean, good and friendly service, breakfast was simple but included, can’t complain about that. We usually travel light, so the fact that there’s no elevator didn’t bother us. Internet and A/C worked fine.

I booked a room in this hotel in October 2018 but when I got there the hotel was flooded and they sent me to the hotel in front of it (Agli Artisti) saying that the price would be the same. On the next day I found out that Agli Artisti was half the price and went to Dolomiti where they refused to give me back the difference since they charged me one month before my arrival saying the other hotel had more starts; that I had a private bathroom; a larger room; etc. When I asked them why the other hotel was half the price if it was so superior they laughed at me and said that if I had a complaint I should direct it to Booking.com where I made the reservation because they wouldnt do anything about it. In short follow this advice: go to Agli Artisti which is crossing the street, get half the price and more stars. These people dont know what customer service is.

We chose this hotel due to its proximity to the train station. We had two big suitcases + 1 small one which will be abused if we rolled it through the cobblestone road & too heavy to haul onto the veperetto. The Hotel is on a quiet street & also very near to vaperetto #1, straight to Rialto & St. Mark's Basilica.
Sergei was at the reception; he was nice & friendly. Advised us to buy the €20 card at the nearby convenient store if we intend to take the veperetto frequently. The card can be used for 24-hour travel & expired the next day (the cost for taking the veperetto is €7.50 per way).
We booked a room with separate shower & toilet/WC, thinking that both will be adjacent to each other. Turned out that the shower is on the other side of the building, but fortunately the WC is right outside our room.
The room is small with one window looking down at the 'garden' & one fan to dispel the heat. Since we plan to be out the whole day & night, we didn't really feel cramped nor hot while in the bedroom.
Breakfast was included, sufficient to last us until lunchtime. Overall, a short but satisfying stay in a very convenient location for tourists.
