I had stayed several hotels in Lido and Venice. but I think this hotel was one of the best for the price and what you get. For seven night, I paid 450 euros. Room is clean and shower room is clean. For single room use, I got double bed. Friendly and helpful front staff. and for the waterbus station is only 2 minutes walk! so you can go to Venice so quick.for the breakfast, they recently got pancake making machine. so you get the freshly cooked pancakes as many as you want! but one thing, my room was next door to the housekeeping room or something, I could hear the phone ringing and door shut often.

Room was very basic, door did not fit properly huge gap showed light from corridor showing through all night/. Walls thin so able to hear ALL noises from adjoining room and bathroom which was not pleasant. Mattress on bed was ok but pillows lumpy and uncomfortable. Balcony outside with NO access. View over back of restaurants and rooftops was not pleasant. Bathroom tiny and narrow. The only saving graces of this tired and depressing hotel was that the staff were friendly and very pleasant, the bedding was changed every day and the location to the water bus and transport stop was excellent. The beach at the end of the road would have been lovely but only 2nd week of September and it was closed so no access to sunbeds or parasols even tho the weather was still good. Breakfast at the hotel was adequate but many things were frequently being run out of including crockery and food. The coffee machine was useless, half cups of beverages produced which were practically cold, lukewarm at best. The sitting areas of the reception was depressingly dark, faded and basic. Television in the rooms was basic, only English speaking programmes being BBC News and CNN. A shame as so well situated it could be an absolute gem.

To be honest, the ratio between what is offered and the price is a bit out of balance. Then again, Venice in general is rather expensive. Location is great, right at the vaporetto station and on the main road. Room very clean but rather simple and too early check out at 11am. Was not possible to stay one more hour in the room. Rooms facing the main road have a great view at the laguna, but also rather noisy. Better ask for a room facing to another side. Would I stay again? Probably for a short 1-2 night stay, just for the location.
