Hotel Falier

Perfect for what we needed it for, close location to the bus stop (5 minute walk), clean and comfortable (also recently renovated and looks very refreshed and clean) and near a lot of local and very tasty places to eat! You can also leave your bags in reception before you check in and for the day after you check out which is self check out However!!!! some things to note! There’s been a recent change in ownership and now there’s only a receptionist for a few hours a day and you cannot enter the front door without the entrance code which should be sent to you likely via WhatsApp before your visit, in my case booking through On The Beach, I didn’t know this and it was only due to a another friendly guest letting me in the front door I was able to get in as there was no one on reception (about 12 midday on a Sunday). We hadn’t received a code and when we did see the lady to check in, she advised she didn’t have our contact details as Expedia hadn’t passed these on so were left a bit stranded though she then quickly sorted this. Julia was very helpful and friendly and directed us to some fab local placed, one of which was the Km0 Venezia Osteria which we ate at twice and was 4 minutes walk from the hotel All in all a lovely, clean place to stay once we had our codes for the room and doors and was the perfect place to explore the quieter side of Venice and about a 25-30 minute walk to St Marks Square. Lovely shower facilities and very comfy beds, would definitely visit again!

It was a good hotel. We stayed 3 nights. The beds were very comfy. The tv was useable which was great. There was a few problems like some mould under the air con, heater not turning on and they didn’t change the towels just folded them up and put them on bed but these were not huge problems for me. The staff was nice. It was nice and warm inside. Good location in the middle of everything and everywhere you would want to go.

Simple hotel in the central area, small but comfortable rooms, bathroom recently redone. Recommended for those who do not want to spend a spree, and look for a foothold to visit this wonderful city.
