Hotel Malibran

The room we stayed in was so cozy, with a vintage style, that it perfectly matched with Venice. The bench was facing a street without movement, so it was possible to sleep without any noise. But, being honest, I recommend delaying sleep and enjoying the view and the breeze, to feel a sense of peace that I cannot describe here. The location of the hotel was excellent, being close to restaurants, shops and cafes, and most importantly: of virtually all sights!! Because of this, the prices in the region were high, but it was still worth it. The hotel also offers a restaurant, and we really liked the pizza we ordered. The staff were very attentive and I just have to thank you. I intend to come back many times!

We were there in early May for 2 nights; the cleanliness was terrible, dirt everywhere, mosquitoes squashed on the walls, air conditioners that did not work and were noisy, a shower with a clogged showerhead; a terrible experience, the only redeeming quality was the location, everything else was absolutely not.

The hotel may look outdated but in Venice apart from looking for more expensive all the hotels will look the same, we must not forget Venice was not built yesterday and renovations remain expensive and complicated I think. Personally I found it perfect, very friendly welcome, very clean, breakfast included a good plus, it is very varied, classic. The restaurant has not been tested at lunch or dinner time but a choice also varied at affordable prices, for example the Margherita 9€ at the hotel and on the few menus looked at in restaurants it ranges from 8€ to 15€ see more .... There is a small elevator for 2 people no more, the rooms are ok mattresses not unpleasant, the bathroom is fine too (shower pressure not crazy crazy), the opposite remains to the local image seen on the building opposite, no sea view or monument. Geolocation, this hotel is very well placed close to the Rialto Bridge, close to St Marco's Square..... in summary the hotel is the sleeping stage of the stay so it meets the need perfectly.
