*Bad experience – not recommended!* I stayed at this hotel and unfortunately the cleanliness left much to be desired. The carpet was visibly dirty, with dark stains and an unpleasant smell. The bathroom unhygienic, with residues and poorly maintained sanitation. Even the room in general gave a sense of neglect. For a 4/5 star hotel, the level was well below expectations. I will not return and would not recommend it to those seeking a minimum of comfort and hygiene.

This place is not the official Messner 5 Lions hotel, but an annex nearby. The room has its old charm, very spacious, beautiful. The location is fantastic, 10 minutes from Piazza San Marco. Unfortunately, the pillows on the bed were dirty and smelly, the pillowcase was clean and then, surprisingly, there is no bidet in the bathroom... We reported this to the reception, where they apologized for the pillows. Since the structure is dated, he tells us that they have some rooms without bidets. Sin

Excellent position. Ideal for visiting Venice. Good value for money. Very kind staff. Rooms not huge but suitable for a few days' stay. In a beautiful area of Venice but not overcrowded with tourists. A few minutes walk from every place of interest
