Since our stay had already been fully paid for, it was very disappointing to be denied access over a €40 shortfall. The hotel’s policy requires guests to provide passports, but not all visitors are from Italy. There should be a better process in place for international travelers who have already paid for their accommodations rather than leaving them stranded outside. The following morning, we tried calling the hotel at 9:00 AM, but no one answered. We eventually had to walk to the property around noon to resolve the issue ourselves. Overall, this was a very poor experience. The front desk staff appeared concerned about repercussions from upper management and seemed unable to help. We chose to leave rather than continue dealing with the situation. Hospitality businesses should prioritize customer service and provide reasonable solutions for paying guests. Unfortunately, this experience fell far below expectations. I hope management reviews these policies and makes improvements for future guests. Terrible experience.

Good location although on a very busy street so quite noisy at night time. Rooms are tiny, old, worn and unclean. Only 1 socket in entire room which had a fridge plugged in to it so anytime we needed to use chargers etc we had to unplug. Bed is like sleeping on wood, so so uncomfortable. I definitely would never come back here and would not recommend it to others.

AC was listed as an amenity. We arrived on a day that was 80 degrees with high humidity. Our room was very hot and uncomfortable. Went down to desk to inquire about AC. Management told us they would not turn AC on until June, despite the high temps. Desk staff was rude and condiscending. Woman at desk was mumbling about us in Italian - I understand Italian. We were told to "open the windows", which let in bugs and mosquitoes. Was too late to find another hotel that evening. Needless to say, none of us sleep. WIFI was also down when we arrived and the halls smelled of mold. TV cable was pulled out and TV unplugged. We checked-out the next morning and went to another hotel - air conditioned, working WIFI and no smell.
