Venice Resort Hotel

The hotel is really very large; we stayed there for one night to catch a flight from Venice the next day. In addition to being strategic for the airport, it is also strategic for reaching the city of Venice. The room we stayed in was brand new, really very nice and large; the only downside was that we could not find the TV remote. If we had stayed more days, I would have definitely asked for information, but since it was only one night, I had no issues. They have a restaurant of their own nearby; the pizza is good and the menu is nice.

The room is clean. Breakfast's good. I called him and he really picked me up at the airport in about five minutes. Smooth check-in and more The single room had a bed and a room, but everything we needed. The property is large, there are places to sit here and there, and there is even a swimming pool, so it is also pleasant to take a walk on the property

This was the last stop on a two-week tour of Italy. When we arrived the entrance was poorly marked. On checking in the “manager” was sarcastic and rude. We didn’t care as we were all exhausted and ready to shower and head to bed before a 5:30am flight. After lugging our bags up two flights of stairs (there is no lift) we entered a poorly cleaned, damp room with no heat. Then, I tried the shower. There was absolutely no hot water. “Deena” from the front desk came up to the room and announced that the frigid water was “as good as it gets here”. She seemed to think this was hilarious. We left for dinner and on returning the room was COLD. We froze for several hours before heading out to catch the shuttle we booked prior to our stay. The shuttle was overcrowded and dropped us off on the road leading into the airport (not even at the terminal). On checking out, the man at the desk didn’t even look up or acknowledge us in any way. Others were in the lobby complaining about a lack of heat and hot water when we returned from dinner. Avoid this place!
