I stayed two nights in this facility, unfortunately being very disappointed with the overall experience, beyond the objective beauty of the park and the outdoor spaces, which are very impactful.
The main problems concerned the attic room in the annex and the management of services:
Comfort, hygiene, and service issues in the room: The room was extremely dark and lacked sufficient natural light, creating a gloomy atmosphere. The mattress was excessively hard, but the worst problem was the state of cleanliness: the wooden beams of the ceiling were so laden with accumulated dust that simply blowing from below caused actual pieces of dirt to fall on my head. Moreover, on the first night, the power went out four times due to electrical problems in the hotel; the constant tripping of the circuit breaker repeatedly woke me up, allowing me to sleep only three hours.
Plumbing issues with the shower: Taking a shower was a hassle: the water did not maintain the set temperature at all, continuously changing on its own from very cold to very hot without touching the valves.
Poor bar service: Although the day before I had managed to get a couple of coffees, the service turned out to be decidedly lacking. On the second evening, coinciding with a wedding, I found the bar closed with a sign saying "closed," leaving me unable to get even a simple chamomile tea before sleeping, despite being told upon arrival that the bar would always be open.
Problems at Reception: At the time of check-out, the reception was unable to issue a paper receipt due to a nighttime printer malfunction. I was offered to receive it via email, but that is not the point: I find it absurd that a 4-star hotel does not have a backup printer or an immediate alternative solution.
In summary, the facility has great visual potential, but the annex section and the management of basic services require a deep and radical intervention to meet the standards that the hotel claims to uphold. I would not return.
