Hotel Accademia was a gorgeous hotel with a location you can't beat. We arrived from our red eye flight and were greeted with a friendly staff and a welcome drink. Our room was spacious, comfortable, and beautifully appointed. Right out the door you are in the heart of Verona and walking distance to the sites. I highly recommend this property for your stay in this wonderful city.

What a find! The location of this hotel is quite possibly the best in Verona if you are looking for something central. All the main attractions, eg. Arena, Juliet’s house, shops etc were only around 5 minutes walk in each direction, which was so useful to keep popping back to cool down before venturing out again! Our Classic Double room overlooked an inner courtyard and was so quiet, it was perfect. The furnishings in the room looked brand new and the bathroom was huge and again looked brand new. A coffee machine, kettle and mini bar were provided and stocks replenished daily. Whilst the decor was a little dark, we thought it enhanced the classical feel of the hotel. This is not a contemporary style hotel but more classic Italian, which we loved. There are so many areas within the hotel to sit and relax in, it always seemed quite empty and peaceful. Breakfast time was the only time the hotel seemed busy and it was then that you realised you weren’t the only guests in the hotel. The age range of guests whilst we were there appeared of a more mature age but there were also a few slightly younger couples. Not sure how suitable it would be for younger families. Breakfast was exceptional and probably the most varied that we have experienced. The pastries were delicious and there was always scrambled egg, bacon, beans and sausage, although these never really seemed piping hot. Smoked salmon was also part of the breakfast, along with a good selection of fruit, yoghurts, fruit juices, cooked meats, cheese etc. Even though this hotel is only a 4 star hotel, the room, breakfast and quality of hotel furnishings in our mind was as good as any 5 star we have stayed in.

This hotel was fine. The location was the best part for my husband and myself. The breakfast had options but just was okay compared to other hotels and Band B’s we stayed at in the region.
