Stayed here for one night, advertised as having air conditioning but the room clearly did not have AC as advertised. I mentioned it and was told first that it was central AC and it was broken and would be fixed next week, then that there was only AC in the common areas, and then that it wasn't on because not all the guests wanted it/the weather didn't require it (it was in the 80s...). Hot water wasn't working in the morning and the internet speeds were very very slow (they worked fine the night before). The owner and staff were friendly at checkin, but were very rude when confronted about these issues, and refused to let me in the room to take a photo to prove the lack of A/C (there were other guests at this time, the guests granted permission but the owner did not...). Not that it matters to me, but the room was also advertised as having a TV but there clearly wasn't one, yet another example of their deceptive advertising. Save yourself the trouble and stay somewhere else, there are plenty of places in Verona.

We bought through booking, way cheaper than on TripAdvisor. It cost us 50 euros with the city tax included. Very approachable and confortable. We booked a double bed with shared bathroom. It was very quiet, we never ran into other people, which was nice specially in the bathroom. We had a bathroom for three bedrooms. No issues what so ever with check in. They even kept the bags so we didn't have to visit the city with them. The breakfast was a nice touch.

Stayed here as a party of 3 during a recent tour of Italy. At only a 10 minute walk from the station it was ideal to dump our suitcases before seeing the sights which are only a short walk away. We booked via booking.com & confirmed an arrival time at 2pm. Sadly no-one was there to let us in, another couple were also waiting & it took a few phone calls & attempts to track the owner down who then arrived 15 mins later. We had secured our booking via visa however we were told her visa machine wasn't working & she required payment by cash instead. The amount asked for did not tally with my original booking.com confirmation. The apartment is however clean, shared bathroom spacious but there is no air conditioning despite it saying so. Instead you get a fan in your room & without a through draft the temperature at night (as we found) is stifling & means you will get very little sleep. Breakfast is help yourself in the kitchen area however not all travellers are clean & dirty dishes had been left about the place. Our fellow guests had also finished the fruit juice, the coffee machine refused to work & the baskets of pre packed croissants were empty when we went through. Several lightbulbs were out in the hallway, our room & bathroom & the shower doesn't drain away easily. Some basic maintenance really which could be fixed quickly. Staff are friendly but if it wasn't for the location & the fact we were only staying 1 night, I would prefer somewhere else with my own bathroom & air con to make for a more pleasant stay.
