Grand Hotel Verona

One of our favorite hotels in Italy and without a doubt the number one in Verona. Very central hotel, a 5-minute walk from Piazza Bra but outside the limited traffic zone, which is always a hassle. In any case, the Arena parking garage is open 24/7 and is located just a few steps away. The entire staff, from the reception to the luggage assistants to the breakfast room staff, are all excellent professionals who make you feel at home and among friends. A feeling that, when you travel for months every year for work away from your family, helps you not to feel too lonely. I hope all the other excellent professionals don't mind, but I must give a special mention to the bartender James, who over the years has become a fixed reference point for me and our USA friends thanks to his friendliness and his cocktails 🥂

We used Verona as a hub for 5 nights.and it was perfect. I wasn't expecting much but hotel was charming, warm and in a fantastic location. The staff was great especially Mara and Emmanuel who helped with our check in and room requests. Great find in Verona
