Hotel Orione

We had booked the accommodation on booking.com. Unfortunately, it does not correspond to the pictures. In general, we were made to wait a long time upon arrival. At first, we were given a room on the ground floor that smelled a bit musty and was furnished with very old furniture, the windowsill had cracks, etc.... When we asked to get another room, it worked out, thank God. The room was then better and the bathroom itself was very nice, modernly equipped. The breakfast was very good and for Italian standards there was quite a lot of selection. For scrambled or fried eggs, you just had to let the waiter know. All in all, I have to say that the anticipation (due to the pictures) was dampened.

Very nice hotel right on the lake - with a great private pier (incl. lounge chairs) on the lake. Lake view at breakfast and dinner. Within walking distance to Castelletto, and both the north and south sides of the lake are easy to reach by car or bus. We will be back!

I do not recommend it to anyone....the staff is poor.... Dirty rooms.... Nightmare kitchen
